Briefly describe your d-MEMP experience, including the impact on your career.

Duke was a great experience for me. I was able to learn from talented faculty and staff and from my classmates and their experiences. This degree allowed me to move into a management role, and the knowledge that I gained allowed me to become an effective manager using the tools and techniques taught in our degree program. During the program, I made some of the best memories of my life and made lifelong friends that live all over the country. I keep in touch with my classmates and we have been fortunate enough to go on annual trips with each other every summer since graduation.

How did the program's flexibility suit your needs? How were you able to manage the program with your work/home life?

The flexibility was key: the lectures were provided in a way that you could listen to them on the way to work, at lunch, or during a business trip. We also had the ability to come sit in the classes if we were ever in the area, which I did a couple of times.

What advice would you give to prospective applicants?

I would advise applicants to get at least two years experience in the workforce to gain the most out of the d-MEMP option.
