Dr. Dina Requena, Pratt Adjunct Faculty (09/16/2011)

Dr. Dina Requena serves as Adjunct Professor of the Practice in the MEM Program. She brings over 15 years of technology management experience. Dr. Requena currently works as the Director of Technology Services at Quarterline where she drives the development of custom information technology solutions for the US Federal and State health care sector.  Prior to joining Quarterline, Dr. Requena worked at IBM 13 years.  At IBM, she served as the Senior Portfolio Manager in the IBM Systems Technology Group (STG) where she successfully managed the world wide launch and go to market strategies of the System x and BladeCenter product lines, a $4.4 billion portfolio;  she managed various system management software and solutions implementations.   Before joining IBM STG, worked in IBM Corporate CIO Enterprise Business Transformation organization where she led the IT strategy and implementation of worldwide projects that generated multimillion dollars of revenues for IBM by enhancing IBM’s business operations performance.   She also worked in miscellaneous jobs including Consultant for the World Bank, Process Engineer for a Peruvian Confectionery company, and as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Universities where she obtained her graduate degrees.
