Bridget Fletcher

Associate Director of Program Development

Bridget currently works as the Associate Director of Program Development for Pratt Professional Master's Programs. In this capacity, Bridget oversees our internal programs, including our seminar and workshop series as well as our English as a Second Language and communication programs. In addition, she co-manages alumni relations and engagement initiatives as well as the Global Leadership Fellows Program.

Bridget received her BA from NC State University where she studied sociology and her MA from Duke University where she focused on intercultural communication and completed a master's project that examined Chinese student acclimation in graduate school in the US. Bridget is the author of Jiao Shi to Classroom: Preparing for Success in the American Graduate School Classroom, a guidebook specifically for Chinese students preparing to come to the US for graduate school. Bridget received her English as a Second Language teaching certification from Duke University and has also received an Intercultural Foundations certification from the Intercultural Communications Institute. Bridget is certified to administer the Intercultural Effectiveness Scale as well as the Global Competencies Inventory through the Kozai Group.

Bridget received the Pratt School of Engineering Golden Hard Hat Award in 2011, the Capers and Marion McDonald Award for Excellence in Mentoring in 2012, and was nominated for the Blue Ribbon Diversity Award in 2016.
