Director, Professional Masters Programs

Dr. Murray joined Duke University in 2009 and manages the delivery of student services, academic services and career services to 200+ students in the Pratt School's Master of Engineering Management (MEM) and Master of Engineering (MEng) programs. As an Adjunct Professor of the Practice, Dr. Murray directs the Professional Masters Programs Seminar and Workshop series and serves as the primary administrator for the Distributed Master of Engineering Management program (d-MEMP). Dr. Murray has 15+ years of management experience and previously held technical leadership positions at a variety of organizations including NASA, AT&T Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies, and IBM.

 

Dr. Murray is a Certified Personal and Executive Coach as well as a Certified Franklin Covey '7 Habits of Highly Effective People' facilitator. She was recognized as the 2013 recipient of the Pratt School's Capers and Marion McDonald Award for Excellence in Mentoring and Advising. Dr. Murray has authored or co-authored 8 technology papers in the areas of user interface design and engineering education. She additionally holds several human factors design methodology patents.
