Assistant Director of Career Services

Cameo Hartz is an Assistant Director of Career Services for Duke’s Professional Masters Programs. In this role, she advises and creates programs and resources that support students pursuing engineering master’s degrees. She has been involved in Career Services work at Duke University since 2007.

 

Cameo received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Rochester and her master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Before Duke, she advised and educated students at Hamilton College and the University of Michigan.

 

Cameo is the co-author of a monograph, Overview of Curricular Approaches, in the Summer 2012 edition of the journal New Directions for Student Services. She has been a Directorate Member of ACPA’s Commission for Career Services and member of the board of directors for the Career Counselor Technology Forum on LinkedIn.  Cameo has had a longstanding interest in the impact that technology has on modern careers and career services. She has co-hosted a regional conference, written several articles for NACE and the official LinkedIn career services group, and presented about professional online presence for students and employees at Duke.
